課程目標
1.To explore the changing social, political and economic context of the global world and to examine their relationships with social welfare and social work.
2.To explore and discuss critically some of the philosophical and ethical underpinnings to welfare practice in Western industrialised societies and the local Taiwan and other Chinese societies.
3.To examine critically social work practice in the current theories, value and organisational context in Taiwan and other Chinese societies such as Hong Kong.
 
課程要求

1. Attendance and participation: 10%
2. Seminar presentation: 20%
3. Reflection paper in around 2000 words: 20%
4. Term essay in around 5000 words: 50%
